How I'd lead
Last time: A better version of the rides app already exists Read about it.
A better site exists. It still needs to be tested by more than just a few insiders. So here's how I'd handle the change:
- Open testing for every club member. Available now. Your app.nycc.org password works on tools.nycc.org, and feedback can be submitted directy from every page. No clickup forms, no videos to watch.
The feedback button built into NYCC.bike itself is a game changer and will permit members to easily submit new ideas.
— Board member · Read the endorsement
- A refreshed and vibrant web committee. With published minutes, and open attendance to any club member. The committee decides what we do. Contributions are welcome, open-source style.
While the website would be my focus, other changes to the club I'd look for are for tiered memberships, paid positions for social media manager and ENY ride director (as finding volunteers for this is challenging), a ride leader program with ride leader certification, and an initiative to grow the club's mebership.
If you want to be part of any of this, tell me how at scottfornycc.site/help.
